Subject to Planning Permission being obtained, J. P. Wild Homes is delighted to bring you a very small hint at one of our proposed future developments. We are currently working on proposals to reconfigure Wood Farm Livery, which is ideally situated adjacent the A58 between Leeds and Wetherby, just on the Southern edge of the highly desirable and hugely sought after village of Scarcroft.
Scarcroft is a small upmarket village some 6 miles North East of Leeds city centre and it is renowned for having two of the most expensive streets in Yorkshire and the Humber in Ling Lane and Bracken Park.
Further information will be released in due course and we fully anticipate that there will be significant interest in what will prove to be a particularly exclusive and prestigious development.
In the meantime, for any enquiries or expressions of interest, please contact Andrew Shaw on 0113 242 8411 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Postponed from its planned original March date due to a particularly heavy snowfall, April finally saw J. P. Wild and guests enjoy an excellent evening at the Crypt Factor 2018, held at The Centenary Pavilion, Leeds United, Elland Road.
This was J. P. Wild’s first attendance at Yorkshire’s annual property industry singing contest, which is one of the North of England’s most successful charity events.
This year’s event is understood to have been a sell-out and is likely to prove to be the most successful event in its 12-year history. An audience of around 880 collectively raised in excess of £80,000, to be shared equally between St George’s Crypt and The Leeds Fund.
We are delighted to announce that our Sales Office is now open from 10am to 4pm, Friday to Monday, at our exclusive and select development of 24 highly desirable homes in Meltham, Huddersfield.
The development comprises 18 four bedroom detached, 2 four bedroom townhouses and 4 three bedroom townhouses.
For all enquiries please contact Yorkshire’s Finest on 01484 482616 or at email@example.com.
A pre-commencement photo shoot on site with the Lord Mayor of Leeds, Councillor Jane Dowson, Marie Peacock and some of the other staff from Candlelighters, Andrew Walker and Nick Martyn of ECO Integrated Property Solutions and our own John Paul Doherty.
Candlelighters is a registered charity that supports families facing children’s cancer in Yorkshire.
Brandon Cottage, to be renamed Candlelighters Cottage, is just a short walk from Leeds Children’s Hospital and has been acquired by the charity to provide a home from home; for use by families when their child is an inpatient receiving treatment.
J. P. Wild is acting as Principal Contractor on its first awarded project for ECO Integrated Property Solutions, as Contract Administrator and we could not be more delighted to be working with them and their client. A comprehensive 16 week strip out and refurbishment programme of external and internal works is being undertaken that will essentially allow Candlelighters to provide four extra rooms with en-suite facilities per night, 365 days a year. The cottage will also provide a downstairs shared area that will be made into one large kitchen diner and lounge area, allowing the opportunity for families to support each other.
Progress updates to follow and should anyone wish to understand more about the fantastic work undertaken by Candlelighters, the charity’s website at https://lnkd.in/e2GH_3K will provide a greater insight.
We aim always to go above and beyond for all of our clients and contacts but for 3 weeks, we are going to additional lengths for Knight Frank LLP.
We have commenced on site at their client’s premises at Unit 85, Airedale House on Albion Street in the city centre, which is occupied by the Leeds Branch of Additional Lengths, the multi award winning hair extension specialists.
We shall be refurbishing and replacing the shopfront and stall riser, together with some associated works to be undertaken.
And no, we are unable to account for the pushchair on top of the telephone kiosk either!
Gearing up for the Good Friday Bank Holiday weekend and the launch of the Show Home on our St John’s development of just 5 three bedroom homes. The Show Home will be open to view Saturday and Sunday, from 11am to 4pm.
On the edge of the St John’s Conservation Area of Wakefield, commanding a premier leafy location just to the North of the city centre, the development is located adjacent St John’s Square with its elegant three-storey late Georgian terraces and late 18th century classical Church of St John the Baptist.
Not a bad spot at all really!! Have a cracking weekend all.

Sneaky little peak of one of our current developments.
Meltham Grange is our development of 24 homes comprising 18 four bedroom detached, 2 four bedroom townhouses and 4 three bedroom townhouses, situated in Meltham in the Holme Valley below Wessenden Moor, some four and a half miles South West of Huddersfield.
On the edge of the Peak District National Park, it is a glorious part of the world!

Following a damp start in September 2017, a gorgeous but bracing February day, as Practical Completion is obtained following our 16 week refurbishment project for MAC Construction Consultants Ltd and the client.
Back on site at the Queens Shopping Park, in the Horrocks Quarter of Preston, the project entailed the design and construction of the external and internal refurbishment of an existing retail unit, following the exit of Carpet Ways and prior to fit out for Smyths Toys as the incoming Tenant.
Elements of work included removing existing shop front, signage and canopies. Also, in order to form a shell, the removal of all existing internal structures including division wall and associated fixtures, fittings, finishes and services. The project was delivered on time and in budget in an otherwise ‘live’ and busy retail environment, with the unit being adjacent to a busy Energi Trampoline Park unit that remained open and trading throughout the duration of the works.
12 weeks and 70 yards later, Practical Completion has recently been obtained on our refurbishment of the new Leeds office for Sanderson Weatherall LLP.
As reported in October 2017, we were instructed to refurbish a ground floor residential estate agency unit and a 6th floor office space, to enable the firm’s Leeds office relocation from 25 Wellington Street to 29 Wellington Street and into the prestigious Central Square development.
The Leeds team of 80 has moved into the prime grade A office space on the 6th floor and the residential estate agency has also relocated to the ground floor unit. The new office has allowed the firm to bring the Leeds team together on a single floor plate and in what is, undoubtedly, a dynamic working environment.
It was a pleasure to assist the firm with their project and we wish them all the very best in their new home.
Breaking News………….. Reports just coming in, from our External Auditor, that J.P. Wild Limited is recommended for continued certification to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015!
Cracking report, cracking team effort – that’ll do!
